Elevate Privacy Policy
1. What information do we collect and what do we do with it?
When you enroll as a member on our site located at elevateleadership.com, any related or connected website or related courses (collectively, the “Site”), we collect personal information, including the following (collectively, the “Personal Data”):
Name
Email address
Company of employment
If you wish to update, correct or amend any of the Personal Data, please send an email to [email protected] and include a detailed description of the Personal Data that you wish to amend, as well as the correction that you think should be made.
We may send you emails about the Site, registration, course content, your course progress or other updates. We may also use your email to inform you about changes to the course, survey you about your usage, or collect your opinion.
We may also collect the following data of anyone that visits the Site:
Browser and device data, such as IP address, device type, operating system and Internet browser type, screen resolution, operating system name and version, device manufacturer and model, language, plug-ins, add-ons and the language version of the Sites you are visiting;
Usage data, such as time spent on the Site, pages visited, links clicked, language preferences, and the pages that led or referred you to the Site.
2. How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with Personal Data on the Site, make a purchase, or download, use, or participate in any courses or educational materials, you agree to our collecting of Personal Data for the purposes listed in this Privacy Policy.
If we ask for your Personal Data for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
How do I withdraw my consent?
If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your Personal Data, at anytime, by contacting us at [email protected]
3. Use and Disclosure
We use your Personal Data to:
Provide you with the products and services available through the Site
Advertise additional services from Elevate through email or advertisements on the Site
Marketing and events-related communications
We may disclose your Personal Data if we are required by law to do so or in connection with litigation or other legal action if you violate our Terms of Use. We may also disclose your Personal Data to our business affiliates, such as Thinkific (as defined below) or third party payment processors, in order to provide you with the services that you have subscribed to on the Site. If we enter into a transaction in which ownership or control of the Site and/or related materials are transferred to another person or entity, we may disclose the Personal Data in compliance with applicable law in anticipation of such a transaction. Any person or entity that acquires the Personal Data will have the right to continue using it as set forth in this Privacy Policy unless you agree otherwise.
4. Thinkific
Our course and the Site are hosted by Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”). They provide us with the online course creation platform that allows us to sell our product/services to you.
Your data is stored through Thinkific’s data storage, databases and the general Thinkific application. You are responsible for reviewing Thinkific’s privacy policy.
5. Third Party Services
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your Personal Data to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand how your Personal Data will be handled by these providers. We are not responsible for the privacy policy of any third party websites.
Certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. If you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your Personal Data may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.
As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your Personal Data used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the Site. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you that it has been updated.

The right to request confirmation of whether Elevate processes Personal Data relating to you, and if so, to request a copy of that Personal Data;
The right to request that Elevate rectify or update your Personal Data that is inaccurate, incomplete or outdated;
The right to request that Elevate erase your Personal Data in certain circumstances provided by law;
The right to request that Elevate restrict the use of your Personal Data in certain circumstances, such as while Elevate considers another request that you have submitted (including a request that Elevate make an update to your Personal Data); and
The right to request that we export to another company, where technically feasible, your Personal Data that we hold in order to provide Services to you.
California Consumers
As a California consumer and subject to certain limitations under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have choices regarding our use and disclosure of your personal information:
Exercising the right to know. You may request, up to twice in a 12-month period, the following information about the personal information we have collected about you during the past 12 months:
the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you;
the categories of sources from which we collected the personal information;
